Due to the unique personalized nature of the gifts we offer, we have a unique purchase process that is outlined below:

STEP 1 Browse our product pages to find your desired item.

STEP 2 Add the appropriate item to your Paypal shopping cart by clicking the Add to Cart button.

STEP 3 When you are finished shopping, click the Checkout button in your shopping cart. This will initiate the secure Paypal transaction process. If you would like to continue shopping, simply click the "Continue Shopping" button instead. You can continue to browse and add products using the same method as in STEP 2.

STEP 4 Complete the Paypal checkout instructions. Please have your credit card ready. IMPORTANT NOTE: At the end of your Paypal Secure checkout, click the "Final Step: Return to PictureYourGift.com" link in the bottom-left corner. This will take you to our Customization Form (see below) for you to submit your customized engraving details to us.

STEP 5 The customization form is a necessary form used to gather information to process your engraving. Please completely fill out this form in order to prevent any engraving or shipping delays. It is important that your contact information is correct in the event we must contact you for any clarification before the engraving begins.

Once you successfully purchase a gift using our secure Paypal checkout, you will be taken to a form where you can submit the customizations for your item. This form will allow you to supply us with a picture, text and a brief description of how you would like your item personalized. We will take care of the rest!  Below is a list of what you will be required to answer before submitting the form:



Full Name: This is the full name of the person purchasing the item and will NOT appear anywhere on the engraving. This name is simply used to match up your Paypal purchase with your submitted customization form.

Email: This email is only used should we need to contact you with any clarification questions regarding your customizable options.

Phone Number (Home/Cell): Your phone numbers are only used should we need to contact you with any clarification questions regarding your customizable options.

Address: This address should match where you want the personalized item to be shipped.

How will you be sending us your picture?: You have several options for sending your image to us. If you are using a digital image, you can simply email it to us. If you are using a tradional image you can either scan the image and then email it to us or you can mail the image to us and we can scan it for you. If you send us the image, it WILL be returned with the item. Your photograph will be handled with good care, however, keep in mind that we are not responsible for damage done to any images that are sent to us.

What part of the image do you want us to use? Does anything need to be cropped out?: Use this opportunity to be specific with what you want to be seen on your engraving. The more specific you are, the more accurate your engraving will be.

What text (if any) would you like to place on your engraving? Where would you like the text to appear in relation to your image?: Use this opportunity to write exactly what you want your personalized gift to say. Be sure to type your text carefully as what you type is exactly what will be engraved on your item. You can also let us decide where to put the text according to what will look best

Which font do you want to use?: Here you will be able to preview and choose one of several tyes of engraving fonts. You can also decide to let us choose for you! Click here to preview our font choices.

The machine that we use during our process is a high defenition laser engraver that produces high quality images with an incredible amount of detail.  All our materials are specially ordered to produce the finest gifts. We use absolute black imported marble because it produces the best quality image. All the photo editing and layout work is done by a trained graphic design major.  We work on each picture to enhance it visually and to get the best possible results on your final piece.  Each piece can be personalized according to your ideas, creating a very unique and personal gift for any occasion.

When your image arrives, it is scanned into the computer (if necessary). If you scan the image yourself to send to us, be sure to use the high quality 600 dpi setting.

 

We then transpose your digitized image onto your purchased item shape. It is cropped and resized as per your instructions in the submitted Customized Form . Your desired text is also added in this step.

 

Your choosen material is carefully loaded into the laser-engraver. Please note that marble is a natural stone and veins or natural shading may appear in the picture.

 

Your engraving is complete!
